recently I have received some mails from some friends who are AOL subscribers, indicating that they have been called or e-mailed from an AOL representative.
In these mails he wrote that he needed to verify their credit card number. The caller requested the card number and the expire date.
In most cases the e-mail had the AOL logo displayed prominently.
Watch out, AOL does not require any credit card verification!
Never, never, never give out any credit card details.
If you receive this kind of e-mail, do not give any personal information and let AOL know about the scam.
